Two armed men committed a home-invasion robbery in Westwood this morning and may have made their getaway in a Chrysler 300. No injuries were reported in the break-in, which occurred in the 300 block of Norcroft Avenue about 7:40 a.m., said Los Angeles police Officer Gregory Baek.
An occupant of the house, described as a caretaker, was bound by the suspects, who locked the “elderly'” resident in a bedroom, police said. A gardener called police to report the crime.
The men — one of them was carrying a suitcase — fled with unspecified property, Baek said. LAPD Detective Stanley Evans told ABC7 that the men wore hoods and had their faces covered.
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call (877) LAPD-24-7.
